CA SSO: What is the meaning of smRights4 value of smAdminOID?

    Hi,

May I know meaning of the different values of smRights4 (of smAdminOID)? Previously, I have seen the permission of the corresponding values in some document, but not able to find it now.

Also, what is the minimum permission which is required to launch all the XPS tools? Is value smRights4=47 enough to manage everything?

    Thanks.

    Regards,

    Dhilip

    Hi Dhilip,

    The various rights are :

    Manage All Domains = 1
    Manage Objects = 2
    Manage Users = 4
    Manage Keys = 8
    Manage Password Policy = 8
    Manage Reports = 16
    Register TrustedHosts = 32
    Manage Everything = 47

I believe for running all XPStool you will need "Manage Everything" rights.
