can we use 'self-service symbol' field on chg category in maileater

  • 1.  can we use 'self-service symbol' field on chg category in maileater

    Hi,

     

    is there a possibility to use 'self-service symbol' field present on change category in maileater.

     

    if so what is the process and how I can add it in maileater so that it creates change ticket when 'self-service symbol' is given in maileater format.

    Hi,

    the Self service symbol is not part of the predefined tags in the text_api.

    Therefore in order to be able to use it you will first have to create your own lookup function to be used in the text_api.cfg file like the highlighted below that lookup for the sym:

     

    CHANGE.CATEGORY=category.STRING.lookup_chg_category
