    Hi

No, this isn’t a configuration that is supported.  Each requires its own set of resources dedicated to each server.

Each one of the environments has several different options for deployment.  Here’s the gateway form factors and the minimum specifications:

    Gateway:

The CA API Gateway is available in different form factors:

    •   As software that can be installed on servers running Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Oracle Solaris (both x86 and SPARC).

    •   As a 64-bit appliance that requires minimal additional configuration.

    •   As a virtual appliance running under VMware. Initial configuration and setup of this product is described in the CA API Gateway Virtual Appliance Getting Started. Once set up, use this section to administer the virtual appliance.

    •   As a virtual appliance running under different cloud/virtualization platforms:

    Amazon Web Service<https://docops.ca.com/ca-api-gateway/9-2/en/install-configure-upgrade/using-the-gateway-ami-appliance>

    Microsoft Azure<https://docops.ca.com/ca-api-gateway/9-2/en/install-configure-upgrade/run-ca-api-gateway-in-microsoft-azure-cloud>

    Docker<https://docops.ca.com/ca-api-gateway/9-2/en/install-configure-upgrade/using-the-gateway-docker-appliance>

Minimum Gateway Deployment requirement for this would be:

    -          4vCPU

    -          4 gigs of ram

    -          HDU – 50 gigs

    Live API Creator:

Minimum requirement to run LAC in a demo environment:

When installing the API Server on your own hardware or in your own cloud, we recommend:

    •   As many CPUs as required for peak load. API Server takes advantage of all available CPUs.

    •   A minimum of 512MB and a maximum of 4GB of heap size for the container. Larger heap sizes are counter-productive. If you have extra RAM, you can use several containers.

    •   A few GB of available disk space for log files.

Minimum requirement to run LAC in non-prod / prod environments:

We suggest running this in an Apache Tomcat, Oracle Weblogic, JBoss, and Websphere server.

Can be installed on Azure, cloud foundry, docker and virtual appliance.

    CA API Portal:

    Customer Hypervisor

VMware hypervisor to host the API Portal virtual machine. You can use VMware ESXi or VMware vSphere, which includes ESXi. The Portal VM needs access to 4 vCPU, 16-GB RAM, and 50-GB disk space.

    Supported versions:

    •   VMware VSphere versions 5.1, 5.5, 6.0

    •   VMware ESXi versions 5.0, 6.0
