Cross-Enterprise Application Performance Management

Hi Team,

Is there any formal document from CA related to CA CE APM hardware sizing and sizing calculator (or list of metrics that decide the sizing criteria) for setting up CA CE APM? If yes, please provide the details for the same.

There is no formal sizing guide or calculator.

The CEAPM metrics are listed in the user documentation (e.g. Metrics - CA Cross-Enterprise Application Performance Management - 10.5 - CA Technologies Documentation). Please do note that metric counts for specific metric categories are multiplied by number of respective monitored resources, for example CICS Transaction Groups lists 10 metrics, if there are 20 defined CICS transaction groups across all CICS regions, CEAPM reports 200 metrics in this category.

For the reason of limiting the performance impact, most of the metric groups can be configured to be either skipped completely, reported only every n-th interval or filtered by resource name.
