  • 1.  SpectroServer crash, due to Condition Correlation alarm

    Hi

I have an issue with an alarm which is created using Condition Correlation Editor (CCE) and when it is cleared it causes the SpectroServer to crash. Anyone aware of any issue in this area?

    The scenario is as follows.
I have created a number of new event types…

    0xfff00000 E 0 A 1,0xfff00000
    0xfff00001 E 0
    0xfff00002 E 0
    0xfff00003 E 0

In the CCE I have created Conditions, Rules, Policies and Domains such that creating event 0xfff00001 will trigger alarm 0xfff00000 on the Correlation Domain. This works fine and the alarm is triggered against the correct model.

However when I attempt to clear this alarm the SpectroServer crashes. This happens whether I am using another event to trigger the clear event 0xfff00002, or simply using the OneClick interface.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

For info we are on Spectrum 10.2.0.0.244

    Regards, John

    Hi John,

This should be fixed in 10.2 under patch d162.

    https://support.ca.com/us/knowledge-base-articles.TEC1119423.html

I would have to examine the stack to be sure, but this is the only known issue for 10.2.

    Best regards,

    Glenn

Thanks Glenn looks like John has logged a case for this also, so we will pick this up there.

    Thanks Glenn

As Declan said I raised a case and this is now resolved.
