CA Service Management

I have an old R12 single server environment on a VM that I'd like to copy and re-create as a new DEV setup.  Would it work if I can clone the VM, set it up in a different VLAN, change the hostname and IP address for that VLAN, run a pdm_configure and be able to then use that environment.  Would it be as simple as that? Do I need to consider anything else?

You'll probably need to update the server names in the dlgtsrv table in the mdb prior to running the pdm_configure. Also if the mdb is on the same server, then you might have ti do a bit of work to rename that. The following tech doc might help.
