    Hi All,

VMware relationship is not working for some of our vcenters ,if the probe is restarted again relationships is happening, during this time the models which are created in spectrum goes to unreported UIM inventory ,total monitoring is affected for that Datacenter .Anyone have faced the same issue ?

Already probe is running with latest version and java memory is set to max limit .

Make sure you are on the latest version on the nis_api and latest version of Spectrum 10.2.1.  If this is the case please open a ticket with CA Spectrum support.

I find if prevent_vcenter_correlation = true isn't set in the raw config of the vmware probe the integration stops handling relationship mappings. I believe this setting is required if the vcenter server is a virtual machine hosted on the environment being monitored by the vmware probe.

vmware probe - prevent_vcenter_correlation=true as default

You mention latest version of VMware probe, can you specify which version of probe, version of UIM, and version of Spectrum?

I'm passing this on to someone more knowledgeable than me, but two more questions:

    1. Is this a new issue?  Since upgrading the probe or some other change?  Or has it been this way?

    2. Do you have a support case open for this?

    Thanks!
