Good afternoon.

Can someone help me, I need to know the location of the file, where the TDM license is, since I need to delete the same one from the machine.

Can anybody help me.

This document outlines how to find your TDM license: How to Receive and Apply a License for Test Data Manager-Datamaker 3.2.1+  

You can see the license key from within Datamaker. When you receive your new license, you can just delete the existing text and apply the new one.

Not sure what you are trying to do.  Also, Not sure, if you can edit the license information. 

I have a License.txt at C:\Program Files (x86)\Grid-Tools\GTDatamaker.  But never tried anything with that.

I put my name. on a third party machine, to hold a meeting, now I wanted to know if I could delete this license from this machine so that it will no longer be used. That's why I wanted to know where the file is, so I can edit it.

You can delete the license information from here:

You can also delete your lic.dat file. By default this is located at C:\ProgramData\CA\TDM. ProgramData is a hidden folder. 

Hello, I deleted the file, and the license is still active in the Dakamaker.

Please try the following:

In the toolbar click on Security-> Users and Groups

Login as Administrator

In the Maintain Security window, click on the Licensees tab. 

Right click on the license file for the user you want to delete and choose the 'Delete' option.

Restart Datamaker. 

Good morning, I did the procedure again, but the license is still active.

Hi, please try this:

1. Open SQL Server Management Studio (or whichever database management tool you have).

2. Connect to your GTREP (repository) database.

3. Run the following query: delete from dbo.gtrep_clob where clob_id < 0

- To remove any previous entries for licenses, the following rows should be deleted:

-- All rows in the gtrep_licence table.
-- Rows in the gtrep_clob table with clob_id of -1, -2, -3 and -4.

4. Re-launch Datamaker to verify you are prompted for a license.

Why don't you uninstall DataMaker and other components from that server?
