Hi All,

We are sending data from APM to Spectrum through SNMP collection (MIB). We would want to know the table details of where this data is stored, for calculating SLAs.  Can somebody help with the details?

I don't see APM performance data is contained in Spectrum database. Please check APM and Spectrum Integration Architecture document. Spectrum (Tomcat) polls inventory data from APM/Wily Enterprise Manager via Web Services. Spectrum uses inventory data for modeling. When alarm/alert occurred on APM/Wily Enterprise Manager, SNMP trap is sent to SpectroSERVER. Then SpectroSERVER will raise alarm on corresponding model based on the trap data. Performance data may be contained in the SNMP trap packet and shown in the Alarm detail. However I don't see Spectrum keeps APM performance data in its database.

We have imported a MIB file(from APM) in spectrum which is generating some data. Where it will be saved?

We need the location(data tables) to see raw data.

Compiled MIB data is inserted into MySQL mibtools database.

Hello Varnima,

When a mib is loaded into CA Spectrum, It will be compiled to convert respective MIB definition into object identifiers. Mib tools database is used in order to save those compiled OIDS and trap information.

It is not used to hold the data forwarded to spectrum in form of a trap.
