In which table of ca sdm mdb CA EEM entry reside? Please tell Jon_Israel
If you go to options manager, and go to security, you will see the options for EEM in there - such as eiam_hostname, use_eiam_authentication etc... if you see those installed and set to YES, then you are using EEM for Authentication.
Additionally if you go to any access type, and look at the authentication tab there you will see that there is only EIAM Authentication and not OS Authentication available.
You can also check the nx.env - search for "EIAM" and you will see the option there as well.
Hope this helps,
Can you please give us some context in order for the Community to respond appropriately?
Not sure what you are asking on this one. Can you provide some details here? What do you mean by "which table is CA EEM entry reside"?
I just need to know if my sdm is integrated with eem. SO there must be some information of eem server in mdb table. I want to know the table.
Side note - if you are looking to disable EEM Auth (like if you cannot log into SDM) then you can do so by updating the nx.env to change the use eiam for authentication variable to be "No" - and then recycling SDM services. That will disable it. If you run configure at any point, it may reinstate the option if its still installed in options manager.
Many Thanks for the information
so there isn't any table in database which stores eem information ? right?
Its in the options table if that helps, but typically its not something you would ever edit manually. We only support changing those options using the GUI for options manager because there are things within SDM that are triggered by editing options through the GUI that would not be triggered if you did it manually in the DB.
That said - can you do me a favor here and just make my other post as correct if it gave you the answers you need?
