ESP Workload Automation

  • 1.  "Disabling" Optional Workload Automation Products

    Hi,

We just moved over to ESP a few months back so still very green!

We get messages in ESP that we don't have license keys for some of the optional products.

    - WU CA WA High Availability EE 11.4 Expired or not found
    - WV CA WA Service Governor EE 11.4 Expired or not found
    - WW CA WA Restart Option EE 11.4 Expired or not found

We don't make use of the products but they still seem to be "enabled" somewhere in ESP.

Any idea on how we can "disable" these products or where they might be seen by ESP so that we can remove them?

    Regards

    Hello Eugene,

You may find following knowledge doc helpful:

CA Workload Automation ESP Edition CAS9013A Product about to expire.

To disable these product options rename the following modules from the ESP load library:

CYBHA000 - High Availability Option, product code WU
CYBHP000 - Service Governor option, product code WV
CYBRM000,CYBRM003 - Encore, product code WW

    Thanks,

    Lucy

    Hi Lucy,

I found this board discussion because we are having the same issue at one of our sites. To suppress the High Availability message, you indicate to rename the load module CYBHA000. Is there any issue not renaming the following two other modules: CYBHA001 and CYBHADDB?

    Thanks,

    Denise Cronin

    Hi Dennis,

No, you could but you needn't rename otherl members starting with CYBHA.

    Hope this helps,

Thanks Lucy. We've renamed the members and did a LLA refresh which did not yet remove the messages but will see after the first product restart.

    Hi Eugene,

    Glad to help.

ESP STC needs to be restarted to make it effective.

    Regards,
