    Hi All,

It has been a long time and several machines ago since I have done this, I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. We need to get the CI information out of Spectrum into a importable form to upload into the CA CMDB.  I believe last time we used a custom app we had to put into the Spectrum Home directory somewhere . But, I believe this was before Modeling gateway. Is this something the modeling gateway should be used for, and if so is there a document anywhere that describes how it should be setup to discover just the appropriate fields for CA CMDB?

    TIA

Modeling Gateway export to CMDB:  The modelinggateway Tool for Export - CA Spectrum - 10.2 and 10.2.1 - CA Technologies Documentation

    -cmdb
(Optional) Exports the contents of your SpectroSERVER in a format that can be used when integrating CA Spectrum with CA CMDB. For more information on implementing this integration, contact CA Support.

Then you use grloader on the CMDB to load.
