Hi,

Would like to know in which all can we can connect a project to parent project or master project. In Clarity or Open Work Bench.

Best way would be to use the Hierarchy tab on the project to add parent/child project

Open workbench also helps while you want to open a Master Project: 

PPM Hierarchy tab under the project also helps as mentioned earlier.

The Masterproject - Subproject functionality works so that  you add subprojects to a masterproject

On the hierarchy tab there is a Parents subpage where you can add parents ie masterprojects in this case.

Child projects can be added on either Rollup subpage of the Hierarchy tab.

 The subprojects and childprojects create the same database entries.

In OWB it is the same thing you ad subprojects by clicking the Subprojects icon on the Project tab and then insert to select existing projects.

The option is to open the task submenu with right click and select Insert Subproject...

OWB did not seem to allow create Subprojects by inserting/adding tasks and selecting the type as Project.
