The correct name for the table, according to the link you provided, is Group_Member.

As it's explained in the documentation, the table name - as needed by pdm_load/pdm_extract - , it's not always the same as the one in the SQL, that's why there is a mapping between them in the document. The pdm_ utilities don't connect directly to the SQL tables, but go through an intermediary layer (Data Element Dictionary), just as the names at the Objects and Attributes layer are different (i.e. grpmem).

    I got u Cristi

But please clear me where I can see the data in sdm interface for ca_group_member?

    I know about the grpmem.

I have a replica server in which I need to update ca_group_member table .there is a difference of records in this table.

grpmem table records are same in my both server.

According to the documentation link - and the SD files I checked - this SQL table is not used in SDM, so there is no interface to show it there.

    Hi Aamir,

This table is not used by SDM.  It may be used by other CA products.  SDM only uses the grpmem table to store the relationships of contacts to groups.

Because that ca_group_member table is not defined at the SDM object layer (which is what pdm_extract runs queries against as Cristi mentioned), you cannot do a pdm extract against that object.  You would need to use some type of SQL tool to copy the data over.

    Thanks

    Jon I.

Correct - so in this case, we will mark Cristi's answer as the correct one.

    Thanks Aamir!

    Dear  Jon_Israel

Please clarify one thing. As you said CA_group_member table is not used by SDM and may be use by other CA product. So in my case why I have 1000's of records in this table.? Rightnow our sdm is integrated with spectrum n uim. So the data in this table came from these 2 products???

Most likely not, since neither of them use the MDB directly.

Cristi is correct - Most likely it came from another CASM application like CA Service Catalog, or CA IT Asset Manager.
