Hello All,

Need assistance in guidance to achieve this scenario. We have scenario, we want increase response delay after every 5 minutes or after particular time interval.

It means, for first 5 to 10 minutes response should go with 500 ms delay and after some times with 1000 ms delay and after some time with 1500ms like this.

How we can accomplish this? just need guidance and way to achieve this which we can implement.

If any one have achieved this , please share screen shot, would be really helpful.

Is this for Applications Test or VSE?  What version of DevTest?

As is, I don't think DevTest has the functionality what you are looking.

           I am assuming this is for virtual services. you can acheive this through think scale, which you can update in runtime to adjust the think times by a certain percentage (using VSE console in portal). Lets say 50 % think scale is 500 ms, then changing the think scale to 100% would make it 1000 ms and changing it to 150 % will make it 1500 ms etc. Please verify this once by configuring accordingly and let us know if this will meet your needs.

Hello All,

I am using CA Dev Test 10.1 version. And we are going to run load test so we can not update think time from console because if we going to change that then it can affect hamper load test.

I think there is possibility it can work here. But I am not able to see any step with this name to add in model. Can you show one example of VSM with help of screen shot, please?

Its not a step - It’s a companion to the VSM, so it is applied in the “companions” section of the VSM. To the whole VSM, not to a step in the VSM, so make sure you’re not highlighting a step before looking to the right at “companions”.
