    Hi All,

Hi Praveen, what product are you using for CMDB?

    Hi Praveen,

Unfortunately, we do not have an automatic integration.

However, GRLOADER in CMDB can use a JDBC data source pointing to the UIM database to get the device details from these tables:

These tables will have what you need:

    CM_CONFIGURATION_ITEM

    CM_DEVICE

While it is not an out of box feature to integrate the two, it should not take much time to get it working with CMDB's GRLoader.

    Hope that helps!

So once GR Loader is pointed to UIM DB ,it gets the information and creates CI's?

Yes. It just takes some prep work to decide what fields you want to bring over and to map them.

Tech Tip: Importing CA UIM devices into CA Service Desk Manager (CMDB)

I wrote up a sample way to do this with CA Service Desk Manager (see link)
