    Hi Shivam,

Please find below answers to your question.

    1. When we are linking DB with Lisa Registry or Lisa VSE , what we are storing in DB?

Ans:       Database used by registry will capture data related to test execution details (Data which you can see for test executions), VSE response time (Which you see in VSE reporting details) and user details (if you have created users though console->Administration section), etc. If you want to see these details, you can use any external tool and point database to registry database and verify the data in table

Note:  Please do not modify/update any details in these tables.

    2. When we gonna move DB server from one box to another, is there any chances we can loose any thing?

Ans: If there are no changes in version of Devtest used by the database, you will not see any issues in moving database from one server to other server.

Make sure you work with database team about taking the database dump properly and exported to other box without any data loss.

    3. Can we link 7.5.2 connect DB with 10.1 or it will cause error?

Ans:    No, you can not use 7.5.2 database for Devtest 10.1. Please use a fresh schema for Devtest 10.1 and recreate the tables.
