  • 1.  How do I install WinSFA?

    Posted Oct 29, 2017 12:54 PM

    Hello everyone!

    I'm trying to install the WinSFA, but the following screen is presented and the installation can't be copleted.

    WinSFA Error

    • This error happened in Win2008 and Win2012;
    • The file came from "GEN11093326E.zip" that extracts "WinSFA-2.80a.msi".
    • It always shows the windows user access control, I approve the install, but always happens that.

    Is there any solution for this?

    Best,

    Eduardo Ellery

    Based on the error stating it has not modified anything on your system it appears that the installer could not run at all. UAC may not be the only security issue. Have you tried running this as the local machine administrator?

    Hi,

    You should log in to Target machine as a local administrator to install WINSFA which comes in MSI package. alternatively you can open CMD as a administrator and run below command to perform silent installation.

    msiexec.exe /i path\WinSFA.msi /qb /liwe XCDM_SFA.log
