Clarity

Hi All,

We are using clarity 7.5. We have a project with start date 03/08/15 and end date 31/01/18. In that project currently budgeted cost start date is showing as 03/08/15 and Budgeted Cost Finish as 26/02/16. We would like change the budgeted finish date to project end date that is 31/01/18. But whenever we are change the Budgeted Cost Finish the budgeted cost start is getting changed automatically. It looks like we can change the dates but cant extend the duration.

Could you please let me know if there is any way to do it.

Hi Aradhana.santra,

Two things over here: 

1. You are using a very very old and out dated version of PPM so it is very difficult to tell whether this is a known issue or not. 

2. Please check if the tasks under the project are of "Fixed duration" type or not.

Why not just create a new budget?

Which version of 7.5 are you using?  I still have manuals archived, and I can check them.
