CA Service Management

Hello Guys.

We have CA SDM 11.2 right now , with no customizations, and we would like to upgrade to 14.1, is it possible to use the SWING method to upgrade from 11.2 to 14.1?

Yes, you can certainly use the swing box method to do your upgrade.  However, here is the challenge with 11.2.   11.2 is only supported on Windows 2003 with SQL 2005, where as 14.1 is NOT certified on Windows 2003 with SQL 2005.  The upgrade to 14.1 should work ok on Windows 2003 with SQL 2005, but then you will need to move that upgraded install to a new environment running at least Windows 2008 (Recommended 2012R2) with SQL 2008 (Recommend SQL 2012).  BUT you should be able to do it.

Can you tell me what OS and DB your 11.2 is running on currently?  Then I can give you a more definitive set of steps for your specific situation
