Hi All,

There has always been a maint mode issue here where if we want to place a device or group of devices in maint mode for more than a 1month period using the scheduler its been difficult. Currently  if you schedule  a down time and you set the duration to more than appx. 590hrs then the scheduler gui will error with "Invalid Value".  At 590 hours that only buys you 3 weeks of Maint Mode.  Can someone tell  me what the best setting in in the 'create schedule'   gui  would be for time frames greater that 3 weeks. We are looking for a 3 month time period. Is it possible?  90 days of maint mode scheduled.

Hi Partrick,

You need to change the SCHED_Duration attribute on the schedule.  So, create the schedule for 590 hours.  In the locater tab, run the “Schedules -> All Schedules” search.  Select the schedule you just created for 590 hours.  Go to the Attributes tab, and change the SCHED_Duration to 7776000.

When you go back into the Add/Remove Schedules, you’ll see it now shows 2,160 hours (90 days).

That should do the trick.
