    Hello SD Team

We have recently configured rest port to enable mobile access. Also copied mobiledemo from sample folder to bopcfg folder to access Mobile interface. now we request network team to publish the mobile following url on internet so we can access it on CA service Management application which is available on Android n Appstore.

    http://hostname:8050/mobiledemo/login.html

Now we need to make this HTTPS for secure connection. please advise ho to achieve this.

    Aamir,

Apart from what Jon mentioned, you need to make sure that the certificate and the certificate chain is also available on the mobile devices.

For example:   you got a certificate from a certificate vendor called "raghu",   this Cert Authority raghu,  is not normally available on mobile devices.  So you need to add that to the mobile device.

Yes, that's why you may may want to work with your mobile device manager or your network admin to make sure that you get a certificate from a vendor who is part of the trusted CA's list on almost all mobile devices.  Normally these are companies like GoDaddy, Verisign, RSA Incommon  etc etc.,

However, some companies have their own cert authorities / certs that they push out to the mobile devices. So, maybe getting certs from such internal vendors is preferred in such cases.  That's why its better to work with your network admins to sort it out

Thanks Raghu.Rudraraju - I totally forgot about that part.  We have a document that talks about doing it on Android which you can find here:

How to install a certificate on android device

For Apple I dont see anything in our knowledge base:(
