  • 1.  Agent Metrics Threshold Exceeded

    Hi,

     

    I was checking the APM Status console and I see three agents showing as Agent Metrics Threshold Exceeded (clamps). The threshold is set to 50000 and the current value is 53000. We have a MOM on RHEL7 and a dedicated collector on Windows 2012. We have around 35 Agents reporting. 

     

    Can you please advise? Also I do see some performance issues in MOM and I believe is caused by this.

    If you look at the agents in the Investigator, click on the Metrics tab to see a breakdown of the number of metrics collected. Determine where most of the metrics are coming from and look to reduce that number. It may be a number of things you'll need to address (sockets, JSPs, SQL).
