    I have an application that receives as parameter the password of a user that is different from the one of execution.

    Can I pass the password content from WLA as parameter?

    Could you please mention what is the product you are referring to? (DSERIES, Autosys, CA ESP) ?

    Hi Leandro,

     

    The product is DE series.

     

    I want to pass the user agent password as a job parameter.

    Maybe the product as a global variable with that information.

    Hi Manuel, 

    I don't recommend passing passwords as parameters. The password will be in clear text in the agent logs.

    Thanks Don,


    We are migrating a house scheduler, and they send the password as parameter ( masked ), then we need to send the password too. 

    The password is consumed  for the agent application.
