  • 1.  Does CA UIM have a document that defines the alarm definitions?

    Hi,

     

    Is there a document that explains every alarm on CA UIM?

    I have a customer that is using CA UIM, and they are struggling to understand some of the alarms that are published by UIM. With that being so, I have to explain every alarm that is displayed on the dashboard, however this document would be beneficial for them for days were I am not on site.

    Is there a table on the database that has definitions?

    Keleabetswe Maake, as YU said there isn't any alarm examples encyclopedia kind of doc. However, the alarms that most commonly generate doubts are likely to be "explained" in some Knowledge Document or in community posts in this very UIM community. The customer can easily search our knowledge base CA Support Online - CA Technologies or search community posts and questions with the keywords from the alarm.

    To today 29-06-2018 not exist some document with document that explains every alarm on CAUIM?
