Experts,

We have data center and recovery site implementation for both spectrum as well as UIM.

Spectrum is configured in 10, 20, and 30 precedence value where 30th precedence spectroserver is in recovery site.

HUB 1 and HUB 2 in data center are in HA with HA probe where as one stand alone HUB 3 is present in recovery site.

SQL database is getting sync for UIM from DC to recovery site.

Now we have stopped dc setup for both spectrum and UIM and moved complete operation of DR.

But on spectrum admin console -->UIM integration page -->SpectroSERVER drop down is only showing primary spectroserver entry. Its not showing this 3rd spectroserver or rather second spectroserver.

Do you guys know why this? i mean if they have given drop down to choose from for spectroserver then why only single entry is available?

Hi Ajit,

The drop down menu will display only the primary SpectroSERVER. The secondary and tertiary SpectroSERVERs are not displayed in this menu. In a DSS (Distributed SpectroSERVER) you will be able to select others landscapes in this menu.

Note: Not all applications can exercise the full range of their capabilities when they are being run from a secondary (or tertiary) SpectroSERVER. The main reason to set up a fault-tolerant environment is to ensure continuous monitoring of the network, not to create a full copy of CA Spectrum.
