In FDM is there a maximum of field we can mask?

We have an Oracle table where we have 200 to mask and we had to split in 2 files.

Hi,

As far as I know there is no limit. I am not sure why you had to split it into 2 files. Were you using FDM mapper for creating the rules? If so, was it in the new style or old style of the mapper?

Considering the number of tabs in your case, I would recommend you to activate the "Old Style mapper" from the FDM GUI and re-try. It would be easier to handle as well. Please see the screenshot below to achieve this.

I'm using a tool that I build on Javelin to read from an Excel file and create the « .csv » for the mapping.

We have an issue when we run a script with 200 fields to mask. Around the 100 fields there is no masking done. We are not getting an error message. We are masking a Oracle table.

We only see that the masking is not executed.

Can you trying enabling debug or logging actions from javelin to see where you are getting the issue?

The issue is when we are running the masking. The 1 to 100 are getting masked but the 100 to 200 are not.

Is there a limit on the number of columns we can mask at the same time?
