  • 1.  Error when installing Excel Add In Office 365

    I have seen where some folks running Office 365 have successfully installed the Excel Add In for CA Central. Has anyone encountered an error wanting "Visual Studio Tools for Office 2010 Runtime" when you are using Office 365?

    Hello Nelson,

     

    In order to use the Excel add we do require some Pre-Reqs. Visual Studio Tools for Office 2010 Runtime is one the required Pre-Reqs.  For you reference I have included the help link below that lists them

    To be more specific, there's a download link for the VSTO runtime in the prerequisites listed about halfway down the page that Christian specified, and as a rule that's the only component that most users find missing. You can usually disregard the other listed prerequisites. Hope that helps.
