Hi,

I encounter a problem with allocating some efforts for a resource on a project.

Whenever I'm trying to allocate some efforts on a specific period, the effort is shifted to another period in the planning...

The resource in question has submitted a timesheet in this period (but I tried to allocate the effort for another period and I still have the same behaviour...), is it linked ?

You will not be able to allocate effort for a period that a resource has (ever*) completed a timesheet for** - PPM treats this as "in the past". You could always adjust that timesheet to put in the actuals though.

( * - re "ever" ; so adjusting / returning a timesheet does not 'fix' this. ) 

( ** - this is the "Actuals Through Date" - an attribute of the resource that prevents forecasting things 'in the past')
