    Issue:

When sampling a database, we are seeing the following error- ORA-22950: cannot ORDER objects without MAP or ORDER method.

    Environment:
CA Test Data Manager (TDM)- Datamaker, Oracle
    Cause:

Development has confirmed that the product is currently working as designed. When Datamaker detects a column that it cannot profile, it will flag it and ignore it, then move onto the next one. Sampling will complete for all tables and then a message about a log file will be provided for the columns that were not profiled.

    Resolution:

Here is the resolution from Oracle. We recommend working with your DBA to accomplish this.
    https://community.oracle.com/thread/631321

Cause: Object types must have map or order methods defined for all comparisons other than equality and inequality comparisons.
Action: Define a map or order method for the object type.
