    Issue:

    While registering a new table in the TDM Portal, I am receiving the following error message: ORA-28040 No matching authentication protocol exception is received. 

    Environment:
    CA Test Data Manager (TDM)- Portal
    Cause:

    This issue is caused by the TDMModelService having two JDBC drivers in the Portal's lib folder. 

    Resolution:

    You can resolve this by removing the ojdbc6-11.2.0.2.0.jar file from C:\Program Files\CA\CA Test Data Manager Portal\tomcat\webapps\TDMModelService\WEB-INF\lib\ folder. Once you remove the file, restart the TDM Portal service and the error message should not be seen again.
