    Hi guys,

We are trying to monitor our IBM AS400 in Spectrum but i'm facing a particular problem. Our AS400 is legacy and currently using an agent from NSM (version 11) and my challenge here is receive traps and convert them in an alarm.

I have the MIB but i'm getting issues during the import process in MIB Tools. Does someone face this scenario before?

If yes, could you share how to achieve the success?

I uploaded 3 screens describing the problems.

    Best Regards,

    Carlos

    Hi,

the error indicates that within your MIB the term "caiAS400" is used, but not defined.

That means you have to compile at first the MIB defining "caiAS400".

In your MIB you should find an "caiAS400 from ..." statement which will point you to the rigth MIB.

Mapping traps with an compiled MIB is much easier but it is not really necessary.

It will also be sufficient to include the trap OID's in an AlertMap file and map them to Event codes.

    Regards,
