customer assigned the assignee and group in classic workflow however as per the requirement once the task activates its set the WF assignee and group in Change Order Assignee and group.
it seems surprising that the customer wants to assign all of the tasks to the same assignee and group, can you give more detail about what they are trying to achieve?
If the WF tasks belong to a change category workflow, you can create a 'behavior' for the status Pending for each task in the category, that will set the WF task assignee and group from the CHG assignee and group when the task goes Pending. You will need to create a macro to assign the values, but the macro only needs two lines of code.
It is not really clear what the issue is here...
Is the customer expecting that the workflow assignee and group to be set as the Changer Order's assignee and group respectively or is the issue that the workflow task assignee and group are overwritten by same from the Change Order?

Can you clarify what exactly is happening with workflows and change order assignees? Does the assignee value change in any way when the workflows are progressing? Does this happen with every workflow task listing?
Yep, rather very odd to want all tasks to be assigned to the same assignee or group regardless of whether these resources are correct to execute the task at hand...
