Service Virtualization

  • 1.  How to create a Data driven virtual service in DevTest Workstation

I have to create Data driven virtual service in DevTest Workstation by loading an excel for as a source of request arguments and response data. I knew that we can do in DevTest Portal.  I hope that CA Support team had developed a LoadHashmap API to load excel file in the VSM for customer whoever requesting it.  It would be good if you share that API which works for 10.1 Version.

    Hi All,

How can we leverage the Execute Event-Driven Subprocess companion and set the even type to call made and execute a subprocess that load the data from excel sheet in this scenario?

    Thanks,

    Vish

Actually this can only be done creating a custom DPH extension.

There's an Idea, created months ago, requesting this enhancement: Enable Data Driven implementation in DevTest Workstation

At this post there's a discussion about it and how It can be done using custom DPHs. Also check joewilliams  comment about support and etc.
