  • 1.  Agent Leak?

    Hi,

I've got this message from a client and it's not enough clear for me...because they said: "agent making a lot of leaks" and in the image I see that message about a IBM class. I'm not sure what to do or how determine if the leak belongs to the agent. Are there metrics in APM  that show me this status?

This is the very first time that I ear about it...

The image is not available since you didn't provide it as an embedded attachment.

    What WAS version?

What OS is WAS deployed on?

    What IBM J9 VM version?

Also, are you using the NoRedef Agent jar file and No Redef profile?

Kindly provide the details requested so that we can help you. And how many agents are having the problem?

    Hi Osvaldo,

For this type of problem with a possible agent memory leak it is best to create a support case. To be able to diagnose root cause we will need a copy of the heap dump from the AppServer/agent JVM which demonstrates the problem, plus usual agent logs/profile etc.

    Thanks
