    Hi team, i'm trying upgrade SDM versão from 12.7 to 17 .

    But in the migration step the following error appears

    Hi Ian,

    I would recommend opening a support case on this one to have an engineer dig into this with you.  Migrations can fail for many reasons.  That log doesnt show much of a reason as to what specifically failed - so we would need to look at some other logs to try and pinpoint the problem for the failure.  When you open the support case, please post the number here so we can follow up on it and post the resolution here as well once resolved.

    What is the value of the NtfsDisable8dot3NameCreation registry key in HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem on the SDM server?

    O valor é 0. Eu tentei este documento, mas não funciono.

    "SDM Migration failed with exitCode:231" message during the migration. 

     

    exit code of this document is different

    Ian, it seems it has something to do with the DB schema...what DB login id you used for this migration? Thanks _Chi

    I am redoing the upgrade, if it gives error, I will post the error log

    Are you receiving the same error when reattempting the upgrade?

     

    If so, please post the CHECKDB.LOG file for analysis.

    Also what is the DB and OS versions you are doing the upgrade on?

    OS : Win Server 2012 R2

    DB: SQL Server 2014 R2
