    Can someone help me to understand about Horizontal Service Catalog Clustering, how it is different from Clustering of two Service Catalog nodes(servers).

    Sure,

     

    A simple cluster of service catalog is just using the same mdb for more than one machine. 

     

    A horizontal cluster has a load balancer that controls the load of the application. To do so, and to make a session persist in one node you have to make this configuration that is explained here:
