Hi All,Client want to get actual connection count measure or metric however in CA APM by default we have Active Connection Object Count which mean different whose explanation.
Is that possible ?
Here is the latest reference (12c): https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1212/wls/WLMBR/core/index.html
Which APM component are we talking about?
I am talking about the metric name "Active connection count" comes under Backend database name.
The agent then. Java or .NET?
What version of APM?
What is the vendor backend resource?
Agent is java "weblogic"
APM version is 10.5.2 with hotfix (deployed)
You should be able to get that from JMX under ‘datasources'. Have you looked there?
No ..... I am not receiving JMX
How can i enable that ?
Follow the agent installation instructions to setup and configure a startup class in WLS.
Enable JMX in your agent profile and restart your JVM.
So by enabling JMX. What we'll be getting ?
Please refer to the Oracle WebLogic documentation for details. APM just exposes the MBeans available from the container.
