CA Service Management

    Morning

We are currently trying to setup a POC environment for our CA application space.  We have successfully managed to do this in the past by cloning the servers from our currently QA environment and then changing the necessary configuration files (changing server names, DB end points) and DB entries.

This is now the first time that we have had to do this with USS in our environment and we are struggling.  Has any one else successfully cloned and reconfigured a USS application server / Is this possible?

Our only source of information that we can currently find is to do a fresh installation and at a certain point include a backup made on the original USS server?

    Any assistance will be appreciated.

    Hi Christian,

I do not know if this is what you are looking for but, on this page of the documentation, setting up Node 2 has you take a backup of Node 1:

How to Set up the Cluster Environment for Unified Self-Service - CA Service Management - 14.1 - CA Technologies Document…

Perhaps what you did before was take a backup of Node 1 and then restored it to Node 2?

Please let us know if that helped you out.

    Thanks,

    Anthony

    Hi Chris,

Did Anthony's reply address your concern?

If so would you be able to mark it as correct?

    Thanks,

    Scott
