Remove users from service catalog

The requirement here is to remove few hundreds of users from Service Catalog (SVC) use completely but they should be able to access Service Desk 14.1 (SDM) normally. CA SDM and SVC uses CA EEM to authenticate and authorize users, which is integrated with an external directory.

 

Is there a recommended way to achieve this requirement and any known issues around this?
