  • 1.  Developer Portal 4.2 OVA file issue

    Even though instructions say IP should be automatically configured, OVA deployment wizard is not programmed to ask for IP settings. There are only two ways you could configure the IP automatically on first boot, one is by prompting for IP settings in deployment wizard and other is preprogramming the IP settings in side OVA. 

     

    After deploying the OVA file we don’t see any ip in summary tab from VMware. Please provide me suggestion, how this ip can be viewed in summary tab.

    Are you able to login to the machine from console and check if a IP has been assigned for it

    Can you check the settings of your VM to see if network adapter is assigned to it

    Yes, i can able to login into the machine console, i don't see any ip assigned but i see localhost@.

    I could not login into install set up to perform network adapter settings, but i see prompt to login "localhost@".
