  • 1.  Rate Increase not updating the cost plan

    Posted Dec 29, 2017 03:34 AM

    CA-PPM Version 14.3.0.298 02 6

Here are the steps to reproduce:

    1. Create a contractor resource and enable 'Financially Active'
    2. Create a Rate Matrix and enter $100 for 'Rate', 'Standard Cost', 'Actual Cost' fields
    3. Run the 'Rate Matrix Job'
    4. Create a cost plan using 'Populate from Task Assignments'. The ETC*Rate will be populated
    5. Go to Rate matrix and increase the Rate by 10%
    6. Click on 'Preview'
    7. Select the checkbox for the contractor row and submit
    8. I get the message 'Row already exists' but the cost plan is not updated with the increased rate

    Am I missing something?

rate dates overlap existing, adjust previous row first

but the cost plan is not updated with the increased rate

because it's not in the matrix yet

    Hi Andrew

Thanks for the response.  Here is how, I set the date and I get 'No results found'

    Source Date From : 12/1/17

    Source Date To : 12/31/17

    New Date From : 1/1/18

    New Date To: 2/28/18

The bottom line is, I want to increase the Rate by 10% for a specific contractor.
