Can I install CA PAM SC 14.0 CR1 directly?

Just wondering if I need to install 14.0 and then apply the CR1 patch

If this is an upgrade, in principle installing CA PAM SC 14.0 CR1 directly should work, without 14.0 install, then applying the CR1.

New installs will work with CA PAM SC 14.0 CR1 directly.

I assume that CA PAM Server Control is involved, and there is no CA PAM (Xceedium) integration.

This is a fresh install. I don’t see the download of 14.0 CR1. All I see is 14.0. Can I get the link for 14.0 CR1?

This will involve an integration with CA PAM. Will that be a limitation?

    Thanks,

    Seema

    Hi Seema,

PAMSC 14 CR1 is a full installation. It can be installed directly onto the server, you do not need to install 14.0 beforehand.

    Hi Brain,

Is this the link? When I have 0000 in service pack it is 14.0 and when I select 0001 it is 14.0 CR1. For both the search results show 14.0.

    Thanks,

    Seema

    Hi Seema,

PAMSC 14 CR1 can be found in our Implementation Guide. I have included the link below for your reference. Please note that CR1 is only for Windows endpoints. There is no CR released for the PAMSC server components at this time.

    Hi Brian,

I am doing a Windows installation of PAM SC server components which is not available for PAM SC 14.0 CR1 correct?

    Thanks,

    Seema

    Hi Seema,

That is correct, there is no PAMSC 14 CR1 for the server components.
