  • 1.  CEM Siteminder plugin

    Hi Team,

I configured the CEM plugin for sitemider using 4.x API.

The question is how the plugin handles the requests in case of multiple policy servers definition.

Does it uses a load balancing or sends the same request to all policy servers?

    Regards

    Antonello

    Hi Antonello,

I checked some old internal design specs and it appears that TIM passes all the policy server IP Addresses to the Siteminder library which decides which server to use, so effectively load balanced and transparent to TIM.

    Regards,

    Hi Lynn

    Thanks for information.

This documentation is internal only or we can have it?

    Regards

    Antonello

    Dear Antonello:

Lynn_Williams can chime in. But if this is from an internal design doc then assuming the answer is no.

    Thanks Hal German

Yes Hal is correct and the source was an internal only design doc, so unfortunately we cannot share it.
