It is possible to put folders instead service offering in catalog home page.
I want folders in the middle of page like the actual featured offerings, not in the right of page as it is actually.
Good Afternoon paulo. Thanks for your reply. As when you wrote: "I want folders in the middle of page like the actual featured offerings",I did not mention the Grid setting because that does not show the 'Featured' offerings. These show up at the right-hand-side, am I correct. And the USS, 'Request a Service' page indeed shows the 'Feautred' as tiles. However, it also shows the catalog navigation at the right-hand-side. You want to be able to make the navigation section invisible on the SC and USS pages, right? When you set 'Service view without browse section', it shows only tiles in the SC-UI.The USS-UI though still shows the navigation pane. Kind regards, Louis.
Good Afternoon Paulo.
Which page are you referring to? SC/Home/Requests or SC/Catalog?
Please advise. Thanks in advance and kind regards, Louis van Amelsfort.
This screen. Instead of seeing the service offerings at load I can see selected folders in the left side
Good Afternoon Paulo. Thanks. So it is the SC/Home/Requests page. The way the SC/Home/Requests page appears, depends on:SC/Catalog/Configuration > Request Management Configuration (request)>> Browse Catalog Layout > Service View or Request ViewWhere with Service View, the Featured Offerings show as the tiles. The Catalog Browse Tree/Navigation indeed show at the left. And can be manipulated with the below parameters:Browse Catalog: Show Folder Icon = noBrowse Catalog: Show Subfolder = no And that still shows the navigation pane on the left. This goes for SC Release 14.x as well as for SC Release 17.x currently. For situations like this, where a user(you) want(s) to ask for a change of behaviour of the current release of the product, I can propose to add an Idea in the Communities. Thanks in advance for your understanding. Kind regards, Louis.
I changed to Grid View and in this mode it shows folders in the home screen, but this change in view is not replicated to access via USS.
In uss it continues to display with service view
