As part of our ongoing Mainframe strategy, CA Technologies now offers a new maintenance delivery service: CA SMP/E Internet Service Retrieval. This new delivery method uses the IBM SMP/E RECEIVE ORDER command to acquire CA Mainframe product maintenance over the internet by securely submitting an order for PTFs and HOLDDATA to a remote CA Technologies server.

    Hello,

We were wondering if there would be some way to have the cert generated for this process to not contain the details of the specific requestor?

We are planning on having one person request to the cert and then use on a keyring that is granted to multiple people.  We would likely also have a different person request the cert at each renewal time.

Our security folks do not like that the cert looks like it is only for the one person that requested it, and we don't want to have to request a cert for each person that could potentially perform maintenance.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

You can for example create a generic Braodcom support account that point on a distribution list and generate the certificate from that account.

    Hello,

We were wondering if removing the information of the person requesting the cert to automate maintenance could be removed from the generated cert?

We are planning on creating one keyring and then granting use access to multiple people.  We are not really wanting to have to request a cert per person and manage different keyrings for each person that might get assigned maintenance.

Also, our security area does not like that the generated cert looks like it is a personal cert for the person that requested it.

    Thanks!
