  • 1.  Migrating Servicenow

    Hi,

     

    My client is migrating to Servicenow and will go Live in a month time and would suggestion on below.

     

    After Go_live, we still want to track the existing requests , approvers should be able to approve but disbale the permission to place a new request.

     

    I know we can remove the submit with Access Control: Add Request but this shows the service. I want to disbale click on the category as well.

     

    Do we have any easy way to get this done.

    Sharath - is this for Service Desk or Service Catalog?

    For Service Desk, you would need to remove the ability to create requests via function access on the roles.

    No worries - I will defer this one to the Catalog folks as I am not familiar with how their permissions/access control is set up.

    You can always mass update the Availability date of every offering
