Edit the Parent field in the feature in question and select the desired Initiative. Remember that by default you'll only see Initiatives for the current project scope but you can the Project scope in the search dialog for your Initiative. Hope that helps.
I wasn’t looking at the feature in full screen mode. Once I did, I was able to see the initiative field and select it. Thank-you.

Robin, just FYI you can do this on the Quick Detail Page as well, you just need to be sure that you're showing the Parent field in show/hide fields settings.
