    Hi,

this is a 8.3.01 api gateway, single node. after gateway 9.0 patch, we reboot the gateway, but the gateway version remains the same. this is the first time i experience this issues. we have already upgraded 2 clusters successfully. a support ticket has been created as well.

    thanks!

Did you check /opt/SecureSpan/Controller/var/logs/patches.log to see if all the patches have gone through fine

Did you check sspc log to see if you can find any errors during patch installation

That means you didn't have a successful database upgrade for that node.

ensure all the nodes in the same cluster are point to the primary database

ensure update the database on primary database after successfully apply platform patch and application patch.

ensure the replication is running fine if you have 2 databases. If not, after upgrade, you may need to re-initilaize the replication.

what exact patch have you installed?

    upgrading from 8.3.01 - 9.1

you need to install platform patch for

    8.4.01

    9.1.00

    REBOOT the server

    than application patch for 9.1

    REBOOT the server

    UPGRADE DB from ssgconfig menu

and you should be good to go!

NOTE when going from 8.3.01 you can not go to 9.00

    Thanks

    Hi Kemal,

this is also recommended by CA support. it's 8.3.01.

I will update this after we fix this issue.

    thanks.
