  • 1.  Integration of SDM with two different instance of UMP server.

    Dear Team,

     

    I have one requirement to integrate two instance of CA Nimsoft (UMP) with CA Service desk manager.

     

    CA SDM 12.6 version is already integrated with CA UMP 7.1 version for ticket creation.

     

    Now there is one requirement to integrate the CA UMP 8.4 version to same CA SDM 12.6 version. So in this case CA SDM will be integrated with two difference instance of UMP application server for ticket creation.

    Please let me know , if this solution is doable or feasible.

    Hi Manish,

    Is this a one-way integration - meaning, UMP is just using web services calls to SDM to create tickets?  OR is it a two-way integration where SDM sends something back to UMP?   If its only one way, and its UMP using web services to create tickets in SDM, then there should not be any issues with having more than one UMP instance open tickets in SDM.  Its basically as if there are multiple web services apps opening tickets - so that wont be a problem.
